Mayawati the Messiah of the Oppressed Indians

Since the days of Mahabharata and Ramayan, the indigenous populations of the Indian sub-continent have suffered vigourously over the centuries till today, their human, cultural, religious, geographical, linguistic, art, music, folklore, festivals and other rights in Central and North India. In the course of time, the Aryans or the upper caste groups, made consistent efforts for regression of the indigenous populations who are knwon today as Sceduled Castes(SC), Scheduled tribes(ST), and Other Backward Communities(OBC). The Government of India and other state governments within the territory of India, made many laws but all these rested and implemented by those who are on the path of systematically depriving the oppressed masses. This has involved a clear and consistent contradiction in the impelentation even though some leaders in the Centre like Rajiv Gandhi and also his mother Indira Gandhi made some strong and genuine efforts to alleviate the problems of these masses and liberate them from these socio-economic, cultural and other bondages. The other major political parties like Congress, BJP and also some at the state level parties too did not make genuine efforts on the political level since they had vested interests and lacked a clear political will. Hence the 10% of the top castes and able groups of people ruled over the 85% SC, ST & OBC in various fields of life ove3r the centuries and further deteriorated these problems among these historically oppressed masses of the country. It is now the voice of Mayavati , the present supremo of the Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) is spreading around the country a strong and loud message of hope for the liberation among these oppressed and exploited masses in the country. Even though national leaders of major political parties are harping their political agenda among the same folks, but failing explicitly to give a message of hope that one day they will have liberation in future in happy India, where they shall equal rights and opprtunities for their future survival. In this context, in the vaste and widely active Indian Media, Mayavati has a positive note to strike and lone voice. But the Indian media surely and stongly supporting the ideology and message of optimism of Mayavati that in her adminstration of the country, as the the chances are ahead, SC, ST & OBC who are nearly 80% in the country , shall rule suprmemly in India by making policies suitable to these 85% folks and not only the 15% and the historical deprivation and frustration making their life gloom and miserable in BSP India will have no place.

Jhabua Tribal Youth Abadon Liquor

The Bhils of Jhabua Distict of Madhya Pradesh at an average drink annually nearly home made, foriegn and Indian brand of spurious alcohols, nearly worth of 6o crores of Rs. In other words their total saving of hard earned money goes to waste away in liquor leave aside the problems like enourmous money spent for the cure in hospital after the fatal deseases caused by its uncontr4olled consumptions, infights, police cases, court cases and indebtness to the private and other money lenders. The weekly news magazine edited by Mathias Bhuriya has made good impact on the Bhil youth of Jhabua, dealing about the matter and it seriousness in Bhili the language of the Bhils, its pro and anti consequences which made the Bhil youth of Jhabua and they haved decided not to consume liquor and other similar things like gutaka pauches, narcotics , Bidis, etc. Not only this under the leadership of Kapil Meda and Shailendra Ninama a team of Bhil youth is formed who will move in the Bhil villages, animating them to abandon these injurious items forever. A move is gaining momentum slowly but consistently. Due to liquor consumptions, the other communities and politicians, etc have taken advantages of the situation economially and politically and have taken upper hand on the Bhil while also promoting this evil even more among them not encourage them to abandon rather proleferate. Hence health and economic sitution is deteriorating day by day. It is time that NGOs and expecially BSP party who is genuinely intered to alleviate the use of alcohol and other similar stimulenting items from the Trbal and Dalit India play an active and disinterested role among them. The editor Mathias Bhuriya has created commendable literature in Bhili in the form of poetry, songs, stories, comments which are available in the form of Cds, audio cassttes, printed books, etc. to suite the abandonment of alcohol by the Bhils. This will well in the line of saving the Tribal human rights and restore the lost cultural and social rights and dignity of the Bhils in the years to come.

Jhabua Bhils: In the Midst of Election Conflicts

Jhabua Bhils: In the Midst of Election Conflicts

Ever since the of gaining of Indian Independence, the Indigenous people namely the Bhils of Jhabua very constantly and loyally voted more specially in the favour of Congress party. Then, some 6o years back they were termed liiterate and today the literacy actual is not more than 20 % even though the Government of Madhya Pradesh claims to have it 100%. The actual problems of the Bhils especially since more than two decades is illiteracy, unemployment, electricity, economic and agricultural development, literacy, education, migration, basic health, and many more. But the both Central and state Governments have not responded positively except the Shivraj Chauhan government of BJP to some extent in the last three years. Today the elections are hovering and they the Bhils are split among Congress, BJP, BSP, Janata Dal (U), SP and some independent cadidates. Non of the them have responded correctly to the basic needs of the poor and the wholistically deprived community of the Bhils in their political agendas not only in Jhabua but all over India in other states as well. Enlightened leaders are need to guide and animate them to help them respond in the conflicting situation and restore overall beneficial situation for the basic needs or survival. At present the human rights issues, or Adivasi rights and civil liberties are hidden and no party cares for them. During all these election propoganda days the BSP party appears to come closer to help and respect the ST communities espcially the Bhils of Jhabua in our Context where the SC, ST & OBS in this context the Bhils will have at least minimum say in the developmental and human rights issues which are in the state of ignoring and denial. May be in the days to come when the Government is formed in Bhopal Mayavati's party BSP will make some change as they are playing a prophetic role for their centuries old liberation from the India socio-economic bondages and second slavery of the SC, ST & OBC in the Free India.

Rahul Gandhi In Jhabua

Rahul Gandhi a promising leader of the Congress party and an important member of the India Gandhi family was in Jhabua on the 20th of November 2008, in the tribal dominated district of Madhya Pradesh to attrack the further moving away tribals of the place for the Madhya Pradesh state assembly ellections coming in a week's time. However he may be very honest in his attempt to attrack the crowds but the simple folks the Bhils have already realised the falseness and poverty in the honesty of the congress party. Even though they came in the thousands and so far they have paid lots of respect to the Congress party but will the fututre prince of the Congress party will fulful thier vanishing honme and restore good days to them ....?

In MP the BSP Shall be Decisive Force

The oppressed for the the centuries especially from the time of Ramayana and Mahabharata by the High castes, the marginalised peoples of Madhya Pradesh have woke up after a long long era of holistic sufferings in the state incluiding in the state politics and it appears very vividly that in the days to come they Bahuman Samaj Party shall be the decisive force to form the government at Bhopal the state capital of Madhya Pradesh possibly with the friendly parties like Congress and its sympathisers.

So far the faked promises were made by the leaders of the state who were mainly from the high castes whose eyes are opening now. Even though the high castes were 5% only in the state population, but manipulated and controled 95% power and the position in the state in the name of excellence and good quality while denying it to the 85% oppressed and marginalised peoples of the state, very unjustly and dominated the people of the state and harly cared the human right issues whose datas are soaring in the state against the SC, ST and OBC. The era is approaching fast when the simple and the marginalised peoples, shall rule Madhya Pradesh and later the whole of India.

Shrienking Space for Congress in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh

Ever since the time of getting independence, the Bhil regions in the Western Madhya Pradesh and of adjoining states were strongly for the Congress Party then under the leadership of Pandit Nehru. But after his demise, as the years passed by the Party and its values detoriorated gradully since Indira Gandhi. The erosion of Cogress values consistently contributed to the loss of Congress leadership among the Bhils. This became more evident went Dileepsingh Bhuriya defacted to Bharatiya Janta Party with whom a large number of sarpanches followed him who was a prominent Bhil or tribal leader of India and the sitting local Member of Parliament. His place was filled by another Bhuriya his desciple called Kantilal Bhuriya. K. Bhuriya as a sitting MP did not do any developmental work for this region as an MP like his predecessor. Much worse, K. Bhuriya did not even keep alive contact with the voters of his constiituency. As a result he lost contact over the years . Kantilal Bhuriya was a state minister for agriculture at the Central Government in India. Voters had lots of expectations from him but some how he did not fulfill them. As a result today the voters are moving towards, Socialist Party of India and the path shown by a well known socialist leader called Mama Baleshwas Dayal and other are moving strongly towards the ideology of Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP), even though they BSP lacks in giving strong base and proper leadership. Yet the voters of SC, ST and OBC groups have strong inclination and follow up towards the BSP leaders.

In the days to come the tribal voters will further move away from both parties Congress as well as BJP and place trust in the BSP which is the Party of the SC, ST & OBC and whose members are 80% of the total vote bank of the region.

Bahujan Samaj Party Has Captured Madhya Pradesh

Over two decades ago, any respectable voter of Madhya Pradesh did dare to utter the name of the party. But today under the leadership of a member from Dalit community of Uttar Pradesh called Mayawati who is popularly called Bahanji meaning sister , the voters all over Madhya Pradesh are flocking to her and to the BSP. This has strongly distured the sleep of the leaders of Congress, BJP, SP and other parties of rich and high castes peoples who fooled the simple people of the state namely SC, ST and OBS for over 6 decades from the time of getting of independence. It is possible that with the friendly and symapthising members and parties of the Madhya Pradesh state assembly the BSP is very likely to form a government in Bhopal the state capital. If things go well with the BSP is it most likely that in the next state assembly BSP and it members from SC, ST and OBC communities who form 80% to 85% state population shall definitely form the government in Bhopal , Madhya Pradesh. It is a matter of time and proper animation to the people. Then the high castes shall be low and in an insignificant minority in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

There was a good, occasion to discuss but genuine for the Gypsies liked among the delegates who looked like to again monitoring and managing their places of importance and the positions.

The final document consists of 7 pages describing of 18 very relevant points. Such apartheid or the discriminatory attitudes are experienced and observed by the Gypsies all over the world, nomadic tribal Catholics in India too experience the same behaviors from the Indigenous nomadic Catholics is seen and experienced by the members of their communities, in an original Catholic Church of Jesus as Claimed who do not imbibe love for the poor Gypsies in Europe and nomadic Catholics in India such as Jesus. In such as case where there is no spirit of Jesus is seen, will there be any use of the final document issued very enthusiastically by the Catholic church in Freising, in collaboration with Catholic Bishops from Germany, in September 2008…?

Tribal Migration and Starvation

As the monsoons have failed this last season a large number of tribals from all over india have been making mass exodus to nearest metaropolitan and cosmopolitan towns & cities from all over India. In the tribal district all over india in rural sectors even the manual work jobs which can be done or should be done by tribal labourers are being done by Central Government and state government contractors through heavy machines. A great deal of breach in Human Rights of Indigenous Peoples in India vastly ignored by NGOs including Central and state Governments in these tribal areas.

The tribal Customary Laws of Marriage and Police

Tribal Customary Laws

The tribals are the largest or one of the largest tribal peoples among the indian peoples of Indian sub continent. From the time immemorial they have customary laws which are governing the law and order situation in their ethic groups. Besides the marriage customary laws there are many more laws relating their day today social and cultural life. The Government of India too in the 5th and the 6th Schedule of the Constitution of the country provide several provisions safeguarding the indigenous peoples rights and directions to uphold them. But in the tribal Districts of india we can see several police cases harassing the tribal in the cases of elopement, abductions and settlement of marriages disputes in the police stations and courts. Due to this victimization the poor indigenous tribal who are mostly below poverty line have to pay off huge sums of the money to the police and court proceedings leaving them poor and impoverished as ever .

The customary tribal laws are not only for the marriage but in may more areas of social life should be respected. It will stop millions and millions of rupees from the tribe including in all the civil district going to the non tribal society leaving the former poor as ever.
